Welly's Plans for Global Expansion in 2024: A Closer Look at the SHIB Partnership

In an article published in "The Shib: Issue 3," it has been revealed that 'Welly,' a fast-food franchise developed through a partnership with Shiba Inu (SHIB), is planning to gradually expand its stores beginning early 2024.

Welly, a burger restaurant that first opened in Naples, Italy, in June 2021, joined the SHIB project in February 2022. Since then, it has undergone significant transformations, including revamping its stores and logo, hiring top chefs, and introducing new menus.

The collaboration with SHIB involves utilizing 'Shibarium' blockchain technology for various aspects of restaurant operations, including customer loyalty, incentive management, and ingredient tracking.

The end of last month saw significant attention with the opening of a new brand store. According to the same article in "The Shib," Welly will soon enable SHIB payments, and a new Welly store is set to open in Reggio Emilia, Italy, at the beginning of 2024.

Following this, plans for further expansion in Italy, initial tests in Europe, and a global expansion test in Texas (where one of Welly's NFT holders will become an owner) are underway.

With over 400 franchise requests received, careful selection of offers is being conducted.

Introducing 'Welly Fresh': A New Brand for Speedy Catering Options

Welly has also announced the upcoming launch of a new brand called 'Welly Fresh,' focused on providing smart and speedy catering options. Initially, five vending machines are planned to be deployed, with expansion into major retail stores also in the pipeline.

This initiative will also leverage blockchain technology, ensuring safe and transparent operational management.

As Welly is utilizing the newly released layer-2 blockchain 'Shibarium,' these initiatives are expected to further increase the awareness of SHIB and Shibarium.

Furthermore, Welly's restaurant blockchain technology is reported to soon undergo practical testing, enabling the analysis and tracking of supply chain data.
