The countries targeted by this expansion are Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt, Chile, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea.

In these nations, the initiative seeks to facilitate the exchange of fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies by supporting local remittance and payment methods.

To provide more payment options globally, MetaMask has partnered with 'Unlimit' and 'TransFi'. On its official website, it lists various cryptocurrency purchasing methods, including card payments, mobile wallets, bank transfers, and local payments.
