Gibran Rakabuming Raka's Commitment to Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Expertise

Gibran Rakabuming Raka, a vice-presidential candidate in Indonesia's upcoming presidential election, has expressed a strong commitment to enhancing the development of experts in cryptocurrencies and blockchain, as reported by local media.

Mr. Raka, the eldest son of Indonesia's current President Joko Widodo, is running for the presidency alongside Prabowo Subianto, the Minister of Defense and a presidential candidate.

According to a CNN Indonesia poll, they are leading contenders with a 44% approval rating.

As reported by 'detiknews', Mr. Raka has pledged to cultivate various cutting-edge technology experts. He stated during a political rally on December 10th:

"We train blockchain experts, cybersecurity experts, and virtual currency experts."

In addition to these fields, the development of experts in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cryptocurrencies, blockchain, big data analysis, cybersecurity, and biotechnology has also been emphasized.

Growing Cryptocurrency Industry and Indonesia's Rapid Market Expansion

The cryptocurrency industry continues to grow steadily. The development and education of developers and experts who can handle cryptocurrencies and blockchain are increasingly important, especially as practical applications of these technologies continue to rise.

Indonesia is one of the rapidly growing countries in the cryptocurrency market. The '2023 Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index' published by Chainalysis in September ranked Indonesia seventh worldwide.

The intensified focus on cultivating cryptocurrency and blockchain talent could further advance the adoption of these technologies in Indonesia.

The next presidential election in Indonesia is scheduled for February 14, 2024, where the president and vice president will be elected by the people.
