How to Purchase NFTs on Shibarium | Insights from SHIB Marketing Leader

Dive into the comprehensive guide on purchasing NFTs on Shibarium.

Get insights from SHIB's Marketing Leader, Lucie, on how to safely navigate the process, understand the payment options, and learn about the potential risks in the ever-evolving world of Shibarium NFTs.

Understanding the Shibarium NFT Purchase Process

On January 7, 2024, Lucie, the Marketing Leader for Shiba Inu (SHIB), explained the process for purchasing NFTs issued on Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 network.

To buy NFTs on Shibarium, one needs a "Shibarium-compatible wallet" and currencies like BONE, SHIB, or LEASH available on Shibarium. Accessing NFT markets that handle Shibarium NFTs allows for the purchase of these NFTs.

The explanation also covered purchasing NFTs on "MantraProtocol," a platform handling multiple NFTs issued on Shibarium. Lucie emphasized the importance of conducting personal research and exercising caution to avoid scams when using other NFT markets.

Step-by-Step Guide to Buying Shibarium NFTs

Lucie detailed the steps for purchasing Shibarium NFTs, highlighting the low transaction fees (under one cent) and the ability to buy NFTs priced between 10 to 10,000 BONE, with the option to use SHIB or LEASH as well. The steps are:

  1. Ensure your wallet contains BONE and ETH.
  2. Open "chain.shibrpc.com" and add the "SHIBARIUM NETWORK."
  3. Visit "shibarium.shib.io" and bridge your BONE.
  4. Open a browser and access "MantraProtocol" (ensure safety and reliability when using other NFT markets).
  5. Choose your desired NFT from the market.
  6. Pay for the NFT using BONE on Shibarium (purchases with SHIB and LEASH are also possible).

"MantraProtocol," supporting multiple blockchain networks, requires selecting "Shibarium" on its official site for trading Shibarium-related NFTs.

The platform features various NFTs, including the "Shib Name Service" announced in late October last year, allowing sorting by price and filtering by payment currency.

However, the risk of fraudulent NFTs and markets is increasing. Instances of SHIB-related scam NFTs being unsolicitedly sent have been reported. Hence, vigilance against such fraudulent activities is crucial.
