Introduction to Unstoppable Domains' Group Chat Feature

On January 17, 2024, Unstoppable Domains announced the addition of a new feature enabling group chat among specific Web3 domain holders.

Unstoppable Domains, a company offering various features related to Web3 domains, provides services that simplify complex wallet addresses like "0x000..." into user-friendly strings such as "myname.wallet".

Previously, the service included features like sending and receiving cryptocurrency through linked Web3 domains and chat functions using Web3 domains. However, the latest update introduces a new "group chat feature."

This group chat feature, developed in collaboration with Push Protocol, includes a token-gated system using badges. This system allows only members who possess certain badges to participate in the group chats.

How to Use the Group Chat Feature

As of the time of this article, the group chat feature is available only on the desktop version. The process to start a group chat is as follows:
