Cardano's First Staking Basket "Reward-Added Test" Begins: A Clear Guide on How to Participate

Atrium Lab Initiates Test of "Distributed Delegation Service"

Atrium Lab announced on March 7, 2024, the launch of the incentive-added testnet for "Diffusion," becoming the first staking basket for Cardano (ADA).

A staking basket is a new method of staking for Cardano that allows distributed delegation to over 100 stake pools registered with Atrium, with each basket allowing distributed delegation to up to 110 stake pools to earn "staking rewards" and "additional Cardano native tokens."

The "Diffusion" reported this time is the first staking basket launched on the testnet, where ADA delegated to Diffusion is allocated to 50 different stake pool operators (SPOs).

Since Diffusion is currently available on the testnet, it is necessary to prepare test ADA (tADA) on the testnet to use it. However, participants in this test who complete tasks can receive airdrop rewards.

Rewards for Test Participants with "Atrium DAO Tokens"

Users who participate in the launched testnet and complete designated multiple tasks will be rewarded with "Atrium DAO tokens."

Atrium DAO tokens are the governance tokens of the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) "Atrium DAO" at Atrium, allowing token holders to be involved in crucial decision-making for the project.

Users who have earned eligibility for the airdrop by participating in the staking basket test will be able to gradually acquire Atrium DAO tokens after the upcoming token generation event, as reported below regarding the overview of the incentive-added testnet.

Overview of the Incentive-Added Testnet

Atrium DAO initiates the incentive-added testnet for "Diffusion," the first staking basket for Cardano. Test participants can receive "Atrium DAO tokens" as rewards by testing the services of "Atrium" and completing tasks.

Test Reward Mechanism and Schedule

The test is conducted until April 5, 2024, and "Atrium DAO tokens" will be granted to test participants who meet the conditions after the test ends.

Rewards are granted in stages, with 10% of the rewards being granted at the first Token Generation Event (TGE). After TGE, it is possible to claim the remaining token rewards by performing a simple claim process, with the total token rewards being paid out over six months.

Eligible individuals can claim daily or once a month. Eligible individuals can receive all rewards within 10 months from the start of TGE, and rewards not claimed after 10 months will be returned to the DAO for future incentives.

How to Participate in the Incentive-Added Testnet

• Create a testnet wallet with wallets such as Lace or Eternl.
• Access Cardano Faucet to obtain test ADA, known as "tADA."
• Complete the testnet tasks on Atrium's site.
• Submit necessary information such as "the testnet address used" and "the mainnet address for receiving rewards" through a dedicated form.

Additional Information

Cardano's test wallets, such as "Lace" or "Eternl," are self-managed wallets that can be created by switching the network from "Mainnet" to "Preview" (Note: Preview is for testing purposes, so do not send mainnet assets).

Do not forget to submit information through the "dedicated form." The "test address used" and "mainnet address for receiving rewards" are required.

At "Cardano Faucet," it is possible to obtain "10,000 tADA" for free every day by entering "the testnet wallet address" in the input section at the bottom of the page (*1).

Tasks to Perform on the Testnet

1. Follow Atrium's "X" and "Discord."
2. Use Atrium's send/receive function to send "tADA" to another member in Discord.
3. Deposit tADA into the staking basket "Diffusion" from Atrium's site.
4. Withdraw tADA from the staking basket "Diffusion."
5. Deposit at least "10,000 tADA" into Diffusion and leave it until the end of the incentive-added testnet (April 5, 2024).

Additional Information

When sending tADA to a Discord member, use the "SEND/RECEIVE" function on the "WALLET page" of Atrium's official site (If there's an error, reopening the site or trying again may resolve the issue).

The wallet addresses of Discord members are posted in the "Discord general" of Atrium's official Discord. Posting your own test address after sending a small amount may lead to receiving tADA from others.

When depositing tADA into the staking basket, select "STAKING BASKETS" from the "STAKING page" and click "DEPOSIT NOW." Enter the deposit amount on the deposit screen and click "CONTINUE."

To withdraw tADA from the staking basket, "WITHDRAW" is available under "INTERECT" in "DIFFUSION" on the "STAKING page." After withdrawing, deposit "over 10,000 tADA" again and keep it until the test ends.

Bonus Tasks for Increased Rewards

1. Deposit into "Diffusion" at least ten times on the testnet.
2. Withdraw from "Diffusion" at least nine times on the testnet.
3. Post three helpful Discord messages for new users asking questions about the testnet.
4. Post love on X.
5. The top five users who complete the most deposits of 10,000tADA will receive double rewards (each user can deposit 10,000tADA once a day).
