Shiba Eternity's P2E Game: Is the Beta Release Around the Corner?

P2E version of Shiba Eternity "next quarter" beta released

The Shiba Inu (SHIB) community is buzzing with anticipation for the beta version of the upcoming Play-to-Earn (P2E) game, Shiba Eternity, slated for testing in the next quarter.

Launched in October 2022, Shiba Eternity began as a SHIB-related collection card game. It has since evolved, with developers now focusing on a Play-to-Earn model that allows players to earn cryptocurrency while enjoying the game.

Originally reported to launch in 2024, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of SHIB, has hinted that the beta version could be released as soon as the next quarter.

This update came in response to a question about when Shiba Eternity might be available for testing, a detail also shared by SHIB’s marketing leader, LUCIE, in a post on the 16th.

Internal Testing Underway for P2E Shiba Eternity

Development progress for the P2E version of Shiba Eternity is well underway, as reported by the game's advisor, Mazrael. According to him, the game is currently in internal testing.

PlaySide Studios, an Australian game development company collaborating on the project, has addressed the remaining bugs in their version, with further refinement by the Shiba Inu Game team.

Mazrael's recent post, stating that the beta version of P2E Shiba Eternity is "just around the corner," fuels the anticipation that the game could be available for public testing in the coming months.

As per reports, the P2E version of Shiba Eternity will introduce a new reward token, "$Treat," which players can earn. Engaging in rewardable activities and quests will require players to hold "Shiboshis," NFTs from SHIB's collection.
