MetaMask, a popular cryptocurrency wallet, announced on September 5, 2023, the implementation of a new feature, "Sell", allowing users to sell their crypto assets and convert them into fiat currency.

This feature enhances MetaMask's multifunctional portfolio management tool, the "MetaMask Portfolio".

It promises easy transactions to convert your cryptocurrencies into fiat currencies with just a few clicks.

Withdrawal Methods and Regional Availability

The cash-out mechanism adopted for this feature involves "ACH bank transfers" and "SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area)".

Nonetheless, users in regions such as the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, and France can take advantage of this cash-out function.

Currently, the assets eligible for sale are limited to "cryptocurrencies on the Ethereum mainnet".

However, there are plans to expand this support to Layer 2 networks in the future.

Continued Expansion of MetaMask's Features

MetaMask has been consistently enhancing its capabilities.
