Atrium Lab Begins Testing "Profile NFTs"
On June 4, 2024, Atrium Lab, which is developing decentralized delegation tools for Cardano (ADA), announced the launch of its second rewarded test: the "Profile NFT Testnet."
Atrium Lab is advancing the development of a service called "Staking Basket," which allows delegation across multiple stake pools. This service enables users to delegate to up to 110 stake pools, earning "staking rewards" and "additional Cardano native tokens."
In March of this year, the company initiated the first rewarded test for Cardano's inaugural staking basket, "Diffusion." Now, the second test, the "Profile NFT Test," has commenced.
What are Profile NFTs?
Profile NFTs are upgradable NFTs. Test participants can level up to earn mainnet rewards and receive rewards in Atrium DAO tokens on the mainnet.
The number of Atrium DAO tokens airdropped on the mainnet increases with higher testnet levels. Additionally, the testnet allows unlocking "unique customization options that can never be unlocked again."
The levels acquired during the test will transfer to the mainnet NFTs, giving participants a favorable starting point when the service officially launches.
Initial Access for Password Holders
The Profile NFT test is being conducted at "https://alpha.atrium.io/", but the site is password-protected at the time of writing.
According to Atrium's official Discord, the password required to access the site is initially given only to early members. The password will be removed once the rewarded test preparations are complete.
Currently, only a few users have been invited, but more users will be added in the future, allowing them to create profiles and earn rewards on the testnet.
Once the password is lifted, anyone will be able to participate in the test, so stay tuned for further updates.
