British Red Cross Now Accepting Cryptocurrency Donations

The British Red Cross, a humanitarian organization, has announced that it will start accepting donations in multiple cryptocurrencies. This move aligns with their commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Previously, other national Red Cross societies, such as those in Singapore and Italy, have also begun accepting cryptocurrency donations.

The British Red Cross followed suit, starting to accept cryptocurrency donations at the end of last month.

Donation Guidelines and Fees

For donations under £5,000, contributors can donate directly through the British Red Cross's official website. For donations exceeding £5,000, donors need to contact the organization via email for further instructions.

It's important to note that anonymous donations are not permitted. Additionally, a transaction fee ranging from 1.0% to 3.9%, depending on the donation amount, is charged by "The Giving Block" for processing the donations.
