Uniswap Launches Browser Extension Wallet
On July 16, 2024, Uniswap announced the public release of its new browser extension wallet, “Uniswap Extension,” designed to reside in the browser’s sidebar.
Uniswap Extension is a browser-based wallet equipped with functionalities for storing, sending, receiving, purchasing, and exchanging cryptocurrencies, allowing users to manage assets across multiple blockchains.
A distinctive feature of this wallet is its persistent presence on the right side of the browser. Users can easily bring up the wallet on any website using the shortcut “cmd/ctrl + shift + U.”
Support for 11 Chains with No Need for Network Switching
At the time of writing, Uniswap Extension supports the following 11 blockchains, displaying all tokens from these networks in one place, eliminating the need to switch chains to check assets.
