Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the cryptocurrency exchange BINANCE, has been released two days ahead of schedule after serving a four-month sentence.

Originally slated for release on September 29, 2024, CZ was freed earlier due to a rule allowing inmates scheduled for release on holidays or weekends to be discharged on the preceding business day.

He had been serving time in Lompoc II, a low-security prison in Central California, before being transferred to a halfway house in San Pedro in August.

CZ, known for his frequent posts on X (formerly Twitter), made his first post after release on September 28, simply stating "gm," meaning "Good Morning."

CZ’s Future Plans: Educational Projects and Continued Web3 Investments
