Announcing the Launch of Midnight's Development Network
Midnight, a sidechain and partner chain utilizing Cardano’s (ADA) blockchain, announced on November 13, 2023, the launch of its development network.
Midnight focuses on data protection and privacy, leveraging a technology known as zero-knowledge proofs, and has previously introduced a unique token called "DUST."
Input Output, the development company behind Cardano, had reported in September that "Midnight would soon be launching on the development network." This recent announcement confirms the official launch of the Midnight DevNet.
100 Initial Developers to Develop & Test Apps
According to the official announcement, 100 developers have been selected as initial release participants. These developers will be creating and testing data protection-related apps on a private network, contributing to the enhancement of Midnight's features.
The Midnight team also plans to host events such as "live webinars" and "Q&A sessions," suggesting that "more opportunities for developer access will be provided in the future, increasing the chances to participate in the development network."
