Shibarium's New Chapter
Shibarium, recently introduced as Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) Layer 2 blockchain, has achieved the notable milestone of 300,000 wallets.
On August 28, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer and co-founder of Shiba Inu, announced the resumption of Shibarium’s operation in a blog post.
Within 24 hours of its relaunch on that day, 35,000 wallets were activated on Shibarium.
Continued Growth of the Shibarium Network
The growth of the Shibarium network hasn't slowed since its relaunch.
Data from the block explorer provided by the ecosystem, Shibariumscan, suggests that there are currently over 337,022 active wallets on the network.
Furthermore, there have been more than 535,087 transactions across 371,501 individual blocks, with an average block time of just 5 seconds.
It's worth noting that the price of the SHIB meme coin has been positively influenced by Shibarium's latest milestone.
