Bitcoin Surpasses the "60,000 Euro" Mark for the First Time

Bitcoin has been setting new records in various countries, and on March 4, 2024, it broke another milestone by exceeding a value of 60,000 Euros, marking a new all-time high in Euro terms.

Record highs in U.S. dollar terms are also on the verge of being reached.

While the all-time high in USD terms stands at approximately 69,000 dollars, the price of BTC has risen to around 68,000 dollars at the time of writing. It is anticipated that the USD all-time high will be surpassed in the near future.

Setting New Records in Over 30 Countries

According to Balaji Srinivasan, former Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, Bitcoin has already set new records in more than 30 countries, including China and India.

Balaji Srinivasan commented late last month that "Bitcoin is becoming a lifeboat for countries around the world," and on the second of this month he explained that "Bitcoin can be seen as an innovation that can store, send and receive large sums of money, but its essence is a political revolution.
