This update reports that users can now create and manage Bitcoin wallet accounts with the desktop version of Brave Wallet. By updating the Brave browser to the latest version (v1.63), users can start utilizing Bitcoin.

Support for Various BTC Addresses and Transactions

Brave Wallet is compatible with a range of Bitcoin addresses for sending and receiving, ensuring compatibility with third-party wallets. The supported types include:

  • Legacy
  • Nested SegWit
  • Native SegWit
  • Taproot

How to Use BTC with Brave Wallet

To use Bitcoin with Brave Wallet, follow these steps:

  1. Open Brave Wallet on Mac, Windows, or Linux.
