Launch of the "D3 Marketplace" Beta Version
On May 24, 2024, Web3 domain company D3, known for their name tokens such as Shiba Inu (Shiba Inu/SHIB), released the beta version of their "D3 Marketplace" where users can buy and sell name tokens.
D3 develops next-generation domains compatible with both Web2 and Web3, partnering with various projects and companies to offer domain names like *shib, *core, *gate, *near, and *vic (currently, only *shib and *core are for sale).
The newly released "D3 Marketplace" allows users to trade name tokens that D3 has developed. This feature is now accessible to all users, enabling them to set "Buy Now Prices" for the name tokens they own or specify the "Minimum Offer Amount" they are willing to accept from buyers.
Setting Buy Now Prices and Minimum Offer Amounts
If you own D3 name tokens, you can set the "Buy Now Price" or "Minimum Offer Amount" by logging in and navigating to the "My Assets" page.
Click on the "List for Sale" button to set these prices. The "Buy now price" on the listing page refers to the immediate sale price, while "Offers" indicate the minimum amount buyers can offer.
Enter the desired prices in these fields and click "Complete Listing (Sign Transaction)" to confirm the listing. Be aware that signing the transaction will incur gas fees.
⚠️ Important Note ⚠️
The contract signed during this process grants third-party access to the Shib Name Service (NFT) until you revoke it. If you mistakenly set a low Buy Now Price, your NFT could be purchased at that price.
After signing, your sell offer will be listed at the price you set, and the sell price will be displayed on the "My Assets" page.
If you need to modify or delete an offer, you can do so by clicking the "Edit Listing" or "Remove Listing" buttons on the "My Assets" page.
