Storing Approximately 1,580 BTC Across Multiple Wallet Addresses
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced on August 22, 2023, that they have identified the wallet addresses where cryptocurrencies stolen by the North Korean hacker group "TraderTraitor", also known as "Lazarus Group" and "APT38", are stored.
The FBI has tracked the Cryptocurrency stolen by attackers related to TraderTraitor and reported that "North Korea might be attempting to cash out bitcoins worth over 40 million dollars."
Attackers associated with TraderTraitor have reportedly stored the illicitly acquired approximately 1,580 BTC across several Bitcoin wallet addresses.
