What is Tangem Ring?

Tangem Ring is a ring-shaped hardware wallet that securely manages multiple cryptocurrencies. It is sold as a set consisting of one ring and two cards, making a total of three devices.

The ring is equipped with an NFC (Near Field Communication) antenna, allowing easy connection with Tangem’s smartphone wallet app. This setup enables users to sign transactions simply by tapping their finger.

Cryptocurrency management and usage are carried out through the smartphone wallet app. Users can store, send, receive, purchase, earn, and exchange thousands of tokens, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, without the need for cables, batteries, or chargers.

The ring itself is made from zirconia ceramic, a lightweight and durable material resistant to scratches, dust, water, and extreme temperatures (-25° to 50°C).

Critical information such as private keys, used for recovering cryptocurrencies, is stored in the ring and the two Tangem cards.

Additionally, the device comes with a 25-year warranty and has been audited by Kudelski Security and Riscure to confirm the absence of backdoors and vulnerabilities.

Pre-orders for the Tangem Ring can be made through the official website, with a pre-order price of $160. Shipping is scheduled for late October 2024.
