CBOE's Official Announcement on Ethereum Spot ETFs
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) updated its official website on July 20, 2024, announcing that trading for a total of five Ethereum spot ETFs will commence on July 23, 2024.
Reports earlier this month on July 16 had indicated the possibility of Ethereum spot ETFs launching on July 23. Now, the official listing page on the CBOE website confirms that trading is set to begin on the specified date.
The following five Ethereum spot ETFs will be listed on the CBOE, all scheduled to begin trading on July 23, 2024:
- 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF (CETH)
- Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH)
- Franklin Ethereum ETF (EZET)
- Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF (QETH)
- VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV)
Potential Impact on Ethereum Prices
After the launch of Bitcoin spot ETFs in the United States in January this year, the price of Bitcoin saw a significant increase.
It is anticipated that the trading commencement of Ethereum spot ETFs will similarly have a positive effect on Ethereum prices.
