Public Test of Cardano's Atrium Profile NFT with Rewards Now Available

Atrium Lab has launched the public test for Profile NFTs on Cardano, offering users a chance to earn rewards through decentralized delegation.

The test allows participants to mint upgradeable NFTs that gain experience points and unlock rewards. The levels and benefits achieved during this test will transfer to the mainnet, making it a valuable opportunity for Cardano enthusiasts.

Official Site Allows Testing of “Profile NFT”

On June 20, 2024, Atrium Lab, the developers of Cardano (ADA)’s decentralized delegation tool, announced the public release of the second rewards-inclusive test for their “Profile NFT” on the testnet.

Atrium Lab is developing a service known as the “staking basket,” which enables decentralized delegation across multiple stake pools.

This system allows users to delegate to up to 110 stake pools, earning “staking rewards” and “additional Cardano native tokens.”

Earlier this month, Atrium Lab opened the second rewards-inclusive test for Profile NFTs to a select group of users with passwords. The recent announcement marks the public availability of this test.

To participate and earn rewards, users must complete a simple application process via a Google Form, while the task of issuing Profile NFTs is relatively straightforward.

Overview of Profile NFTs

Profile NFTs, issued by Atrium on Cardano, are upgradeable NFTs that can gain experience points and level up by completing tasks presented by Atrium.

Leveling up these NFTs unlocks rewards and avatars, and changes background images on the user’s profile page, adding an element of fun to the process.

The levels attained during the test are expected to transfer to mainnet NFTs. Rewards airdropped on the mainnet will be greater for higher levels achieved on the testnet, making this a compelling free participation opportunity.

How to Participate in the Second Rewards-Inclusive Test

To participate in the Profile NFT test, users need to prepare a wallet that can access Cardano’s testnet, known as the “Preview Network,” acquire test ADA (tADA), and complete a simple application via a Google Form.

The “Preview Network” can be accessed through wallets like the Lace Wallet, and test ADA can be requested from the “Cardano Faucet.”

After preparation, users should connect their wallet to the profile page on Atrium’s official site and click the “MINT PROFILE” button to obtain their Profile NFT.

Since this is a test, users must ensure their wallet network is set to the “Preview Network.” After clicking “MINT PROFILE,” users will need to input their @-formatted username, title, bio, and select their avatar to mint the NFT.

Errors might occur since this is a test version, but successfully minted NFTs will display various tasks on the profile page. Detailed instructions and video tutorials are available on Atrium’s site, along with task specifics.

Atrium plans to launch on the mainnet in Q3 2024, following the completion of this second test, so stay tuned for the official release.
