On July 18, 2024, LUCIE, the marketing leader of Shiba Inu (SHIB), shared the latest information about the upcoming SHIB-related game “Shiba Eternity (P2E version).”
Shiba Eternity is a free trading card game released in October 2022, currently available on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
The latest version of this game, which will incorporate a Play-to-Earn (P2E) system, is set to be released soon. LUCIE has previously introduced the game multiple times, but this time, additional updates were shared through a video.
Key Highlights of the New Shiba Eternity
According to LUCIE, the new Shiba Eternity will be the first game fully integrated with Shibarium, the Ethereum Layer 2 solution related to Shiba Inu. “This is significant for Shibarium, BONE, and SHIB,” LUCIE explained.
Here are nine key points highlighted about the game:
• Utilization of Shiboshi and Sheboshi
To play the game, players need to own the NFT collection “Shiboshi,” and later, the “Sheboshi” NFTs will also become usable.
• Full Integration with Shibarium
The new version of the game will be fully integrated with Shibarium, revolutionizing digital game ownership and in-game item ownership.
• First Game Utilizing Shibarium
The latest Shiba Eternity will be the first game to enhance the gaming experience using Shibarium.
• Use of BONE and SHIB Burn
Transactions within the game will use Shibarium’s native token “BONE.” Additionally, each transaction will burn a certain amount of SHIB, contributing to the long-term growth of SHIB.
• All Cards as NFTs & Tradeable on the Market
All cards in Shiba Eternity will be NFTs issued on Shibarium. These NFT cards can be stored in wallets and traded on the “Shib Marketplace.” Each card is unique, making collection and trading more enjoyable.
• Complete Game Overhaul
The new version will feature a new interface, a new reward system, and a new tournament format, making the game more enjoyable to play.
• Initial Release to Select Shib Army Members
The Web3 version of Shiba Eternity will first be offered as a closed beta to those who have staked the virtual currency LEASH or own certain NFTs.
• Gift for Players of the Old Version
Loyal players of the Web2 version of Shiba Eternity will receive a “special welcome gift pack” as a token of appreciation.
• Strengthening the Entire SHIB Ecosystem
In the future, all SHIB-related tokens will benefit from each other, strengthening the entire ecosystem.
While the P2E version of Shiba Eternity has not yet been released, the “Web2 version of Shiba Eternity” is still available to play.
